Dear 888ladies & 888gents

We have TWO winners of the X Factor tickets for next week’s shows! Congratulations to hevaneverwins and Mooey!

We had a writing competition asking you which X Factor judge would you most like to spend an hour with and what would you do with them. We had some Xceptional entries but the best by far was from hevaneverwins!!! Read the winning entry below:

Well after some very careful consideration I am going to have to go for sixty minutes with Mr Louis Walsh. I will arrive at Mr Walsh’s house five minutes late leaving us just 55 minutes to fill. Mr Walsh will soon forget his disappointment in thinking I was not going to show when I reveal to him to contents of my bag containing Guinness and a bottle of finest Irish Whisky.

I poor him a rather large glass and I impress him with my knowledge of Ireland and of his home town Kiltimagh with it’s population of 126, 000 people. Louis calls Ronan to come and joins ( glad I splashed out on the new outfit). With not long left and really wanting to impress Ronan I launch into my Irish joke repertoire. Don’t worry I’m not foolish enough to have not written them down as I always forget the end.

By this time Louis has finished the Whisky and the tears are streaming down his face. He begs me to sing for him so not wanting to refuse I sing Danny boy whilst dancing like Michael Flatley. Louis is gob smacked at my talent he signs me up there and then to a twenty year record contract for 50 million pounds.

As you can imagine I am delighted and rush straight home to play 888ladiesBingo and with money no object I can max in every room twenty four hours a day , cheers Mr Walsh

A superb effort and a worthy winner! hevaneverwins will be traveling with her partner down to London with all Xpenses paid and have a stay over whilst they watch the X Factor sound check show. Enjoy!

The second pair of tickets was won by our little Mooey, who is only 19!! She will be taking her best friend down to Sunday’s elimination show, although she was still in so much shock when I called her she wasn’t sure who she was going to bring! She triumphed against close competition from Drummers, JasonJ1972 and Mozza58, who she beat on the tie breaker question in Studio75! She said to me, ‘I knew that all that staying in and watching the X Factor instead of going out with my friends would pay off one day!” It certainly did.

Also, during the quiz, the players saw a side of the Agent that they’d never seen before but you will have to ask those who took part as I am saying nothing!

So well done to you both! Enjoy the show and give Simon our love!

All put your dabbers down and put your hands together for our very own 888ladies Twitterer, Claregat. She, along with some other great roomies, whose names you can read below, followed my instructions on 888ladies’ Twitter and were waiting for me at 4pm yesterday in Studio 75 with the phrase, “Don’t put Agent in the Corner”, in order to celebrate 888ladies’ chick flick day!

Dear 888ladies and 888gents

It appears that you Roomies have been busy!! Trying to make sense of a TERRIBLE, WHAT FELT LIKE AN ETERNITY, 4 DAYS, when the 888ladies Blog was down…..and voting in our great Poll to find out which is the 888ladies’  FAVOURITE Chick Flick!

There were well over 60 roomies who had a guess what in fact happened to the blog and some were scarily close, although the real reason was a bit more boring than, ‘aliens, wild parties, CH Josh…’ etc’

The Best One as judged by me was this effort from Chickebabe, who earned herself 5,000LPs – a fiver’s worth of 888ladies Bingo! The runners up who got 2,000LPs were fitfee65, Sweetbabyroey, poorme, terrigold & tonkay! All you other great roomies got 1,000LPs for your trouble and just a note, it was so hard to choose and took me a long time to choose. (Chickebabe being an Aussie and losing the Ashes this summer, has enough problems so I felt sorry for her… ) Actually, it is a great effort!

I heard there was a secret plan to sabbotage the blog by all the powers to be!!! Too many Lp’s were being given away and there was only one way to stop the agent…. shut down the blog and watch all the 888 ladies and agent sweat. Ahah alas it backfired.. the esteemed agent 008 is has a double life as an IT engineer!!! Yay crow all the 888 ladies, not only did he fix the blog but is giving away extra Lp’s to make up for the lost days  Oh agent 008 you are my hero. lol

The winner of the the poll yesterday for 888ladies’ Favourite Chick Flick got a massive 38% of the 152 votes cast and earned everyone who voted for ‘DIRTY DANCING’, 2,000LPs IF they left their alias with their choice. Everyone else got 1,000LPs simply for voting. The late, talented heart-throb, Patrick Swayze’s films captured almost 60% of the total votes cast, he will be badly missed. RIP.

All the LPs have been credited, so GO and play your favourite bingo games on your favourite site, 888ladies!!!

We received a picture, ad hoc, from Champagne31 or as I like to call her, Champers, who thought that it would be a good idea to take a picture of herself at the top of the London Eye with a banner saying, “I am an 888lady!”

What a great roomie and 888ladies Family Member! We are of course elated to get something like this without even asking!!

Therefore we are setting up a competition for you to send your pics in that say, “I am an 888lady!” The picture should be taken at amazing landmarks or exotic locations.

Greeny, who you ALL know as another big member of the 888ladies Family, decided that her husband, discoduck’s back, was an ‘exotic location’ and duly obliged us with a photo! She, like Champers, also gets 8,000LPs on us!

This is an outstanding response from nowhere and shows what an amazing 888ladies Family we are all a part of. What a superb fun and family environment 888ladies is to be in!
