Dear 888ladies & 888gents

We have had a lot of fun over the last couple of weeks; discussing our pets; contributing stories; choosing our favourites and of course we have a winner for the cutest one!

The polls are now closed and we have discovered that the favourite 888ladies pets are CATS, which is purrrrfect for me but let’s not bee too ruff on the dogs, if we combine small and big dogs, they would trounce cats by getting almost  double the number of cat votes!! So dogs, on the whole, are better for our 888ladies! But the personal choice is yours!

I then asked you to tell me, ‘What does your pet mean to you?’ I got a huge response to this, with well over 30 proud owners, sharing stories of their special companions. You roomies make it very hard for me so I have some runners up as well as a winner!

I have chosen the winner as tonkay’s story (post #15) and she gets 3,000LPs. The following roomies get 1,000LPs as very close runners’ up:  angelisticdevil, bruji, leanneharry01, aileen2208 & frankie4326! Well Done all!

Now, here is the big news, who is 888ladies’ cutest pet? Thank you all for your amazing pics of your pets and voting in the special poll! Firstly, everyone who sent in a picture of their pet with a sign or wordage saying something along the lines of, “I am an 888ladies pet!” as originally requested, will get 1,000LPs on me! So well done: hevaneverwins, hemsweller, angelisticdevil, cinneedaluck, tonkay, crabbie, pigeon, abbyjam, reesha, rhianne2003, alijm, saucysue1, fitfee65, Chugga & kellookie!

Now to 888ladies’ cutest pet, which I am very pleased to say is my very own little cat, Agent Oscar, with 18% of the vote!! So I thank you all on his behalf and the picture of the proud winner below:

But as I can’t win the LPs, then they have to go to the top 3 roomies pets! That means second placed Jack, Hemsweller’s lovely doggy is the 888ladies’ Cutest Roomies pet, and earns his owner 3,000LPs, see him below:

There was a tie for second runner up between Cypruscat’s kittens and rhianne2003, angelisticdevil and carolk’s pooches, they all get 1,000LPs a piece!

Finally, there was a story competition of the bravest 888ladies pet. There didn’t seem to be much bravery around but plenty of companionship! I have therefore decided to award the winning story 3,000LPs to rhianne2003 about her wonderful doggy companion, Misty.

Phew! I am out of breath and panting after all that LPs giving!

Dear 888ladies & 888gents

Today is Part II of the 888ladies’ pet party. We are celebrating again our furry, hairy and feathery friends who mean soooo much to us.

Let’s start with the ‘888ladies’ Cutest Pet’ Competition. Over the last week and a half I have asked for the roomies to send in pics of their pets, preferably containing banners, so we could make a gallery that you can see on the blog with Flickr to the right of this blog post AND on Facebook where there is a gallery of all the 888ladies pets that were sent in. From all those pictures, we have more than 40 candidates for the cutest 888ladies pet. From tortoises and bearded dragons to horses and chinchillas, we have got almost everything! From the list below, vote for your 888ladies cutest pet! There will be LPs for the top 3!

Owners feel free to write a few sentences to put forward your pet’s case as 888ladies’ cutest pet!! Competition is tough for this one!

It looks like there is a new 888ladies ‘Agent’ who is trying to get my job!

However, I am not too worried, he is small, hairy and has a limited vocabulary….also, his typing skills aren’t so hot!

He is Claregat’s brand new chiwauwau, whom she has named ‘Agent’ after yours truly.  :)

As I am sure that you know by now, Armo won the big Bingo Cruise game a few days ago and is taking along little sister, nannaofcjnr.

Look at the latest picture we received in this competition, it earned missvickixx a MASSIVE 8,000LPS!!! See below how you can earn 8,000LPs for yourselves!

We received a picture, ad hoc, from Champagne31 or as I like to call her, Champers, who thought that it would be a good idea to take a picture of herself at the top of the London Eye with a banner saying, “I am an 888lady!”

What a great roomie and 888ladies Family Member! We are of course elated to get something like this without even asking!!

Therefore we are setting up a competition for you to send your pics in that say, “I am an 888lady!” The picture should be taken at amazing landmarks or exotic locations.

Greeny, who you ALL know as another big member of the 888ladies Family, decided that her husband, discoduck’s back, was an ‘exotic location’ and duly obliged us with a photo! She, like Champers, also gets 8,000LPs on us!

This is an outstanding response from nowhere and shows what an amazing 888ladies Family we are all a part of. What a superb fun and family environment 888ladies is to be in!

We are bingoing ever closer to the big Bingo Cruise games next month and the thirst for Sombrero Points is huge! Therefore, you have got a great way to earn some more, vital Sombero Points and thus earn a place in the final games for the two spots in the cabins!

I want some pics off you all with you at sea on a boat or a ship but there are a few conditions:

* The picture has to be clearly of you (with or without your friends/ family)
* It needs to have a sailing theme with either you on a boat, yacht, dinghy or a ship etc (lilos don’t count! )
* YOU WILL GET 20,000 Sombrero Points if you send a valid picture in!
* You need to sent them to me at agent008email@gmail.com stating your alias clearly and if you are my Facebook Friend, what your name is. The pictures will be displayed on Facebook and maybe even the blog.
