End of Summer Partyyyyyyyy!!
Dear 888ladies and 888gents
On Tuesday, we are having an end of summer party on the blog!!!
For this celebration of our best summer for at least a few years, as it didn’t rain every day, I am running TWO little competitions.
Firstly, I want to know, in no more than a short sentence, what was the best thing that happened this summer to you, in Britain or anywhere in the World! This will be the basis of our blog poll on Tuesday. EVERY valid entry will get 1,000LPs with 5,000LPs AND a car sticker going to the roomie whose suggestion wins Tuesday’s poll!
The other competition is a writing competition. Again, every entry will get 1,000LPs BUT the top 3 entries, the most interesting and well written, will get 5,000LPs AND a car sticker.
What you must write about is this: The best summer I had came in the year …….. and it was the best because …….
It should be no more than two ‘average’ sized paragraphs or 75 words.
You have a bit longer for this second task but you still need to be quick to get them in, you have till midnight on Saturday 12th September.

The best thing that happened to me this summer was my daughter having her baby (jessica) but secondly is winning 300 on the free game lol.
My bestest summer was 2007 beacuse i went on holiday to Stanwix holiday park in Silloth with all my family and we didnt fall out lol. Also cos it was year i seperated from my ex so let me be free to fall in love with Simon. So if it wasnt for that summer i wouldnt be getting married in 4 weeks an all 888 ladies invited lol.

The best thing that happened to me this summer was finally getting to meet up with Mrs Choo and Ladybird36.
We had a fantastic weekend together
my best thing this summer was going to the beautiful countryside of Devon. Especially since I had recently graduated in July and am now able to spend more time with my daughter
My best summer is this year as i am so proud of my son after all he has went through this year. He managed to qualify to be in the SFA (scottish football academy) a very difficult thing to achieve, and he also got picked to go in his school football team (goalie) he live and breathes football lol, so so proud of you sonxx love u lotsxxxx
firstly… the best thing that happened this summer was meeting agent, fairy, chica and tommy and all the wonderful 888 ladies and gents at the party in York…
secondly…. The best summers I had came in the years 1993 and 2007 and it was the best because on 26th june 1993 i married my wonderful husband (britishknight) and my 1st grandchild was born on 4th july 2007
the best thing that happened to me this summer was my boyfriend proposing to me…secondly the best summer will be aug 2010 when we get married lol
the best summer i had was in 2009 and thats because thats when i found 888 ladies bingo, it has helped me overcome depression and i have made some great friends. it is also the year my nephew jack was born, and on 888 day!
The best thing that happened to me this summer was my parents bought me a flight to go to America for Xmas and New Year
My best summer was in 2007 when I went on holiday to Florida and went to Disney World with my partner, because I felt completely happy and carefree – it was fine to wear Tigger ears and be a big kid. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the kids who got to meet their favourite characters was amazing, when I have children of my own I’ll be making sure they get to experience the magic for themselves.
Best thing this summer? Toss up between England winning the Ashes and my son’ s A Level results. Yay – we beat the Aussies and I’m going to have an empty nest as my son is off to Uni!!! Don’t really mean all that – the bestest thing was my son getting the results he needed to get in to Uni.
But it was still good to beat the Aussies!

Best thing that happened this summer? — We actually had some REAL SUNSHINE all over the UK – made everyone feel good and get their white bits brown!!!!!!!!!!

My eldest after 6 years and 5 miscarrages gave birth to a healthy baby boy, my 3rd daughter gave birth to a healthy baby girl, and the same daughter gets married this November!!!

My eldest after tying for 6 years and 5 miscarrages gave birth to a healthy baby boy, my 3rd daughter gave birth to a healthy baby girl, and the same daughter gets married this November!!!

My Best summer is Me and my hubby went to paris… We had a lovely time time. Everytime my hubby will be busy with work. It was wonderful that my hubby was with me all the time Which I never forget.
Every summer is best summer for me… We both go some beautifuls place which will like honeymoon all the time….
The best summer i had was this year 2009 because i got married to the best ever guy in the world….having had a great wedding this left us a bit skint we never even had a honeymoon!!! joined 888 ladies to cheer myself up and what a gr8 end to a gr8 summer i won a grand on the instants!!! Bestest thing this summer has got to be my son getting 2 A’s, 5 B’s, 1 C, 2 D’s and an E (well it was D&T and he handed in doodles for his coursework ?!?!?!?) in his GCSE’s. This is the boy i was told needed extra help in year 4 and was dyslexic!!!! I don’t think so…..
My best summer was the year 2003. My hubby finaly came home from Iraq we had seen him 4 weeks out of a year. Me and my children went to camp to meet him of the coach along with all the other boys coming home was gr8 to se them home all safe and sound. Then we all went on holiday to florida Disney land we had him for a full 12 weeks before we had to say goodbye again for another 3 months.
The best thing that happened to me this summer was going on holiday with all my family to Eygpt. It was special because my daughter, son in law and 2 grandchildren will be emmigrating to Canada next March and it will be the last time we will all be together for a holiday
The best summer i had came in 2009 as my little sister made me an auntie to my first gorgeous little newphew and i was there the whole pregnancy as her parnter is out in afganistan fighting for his country. It was even better when he arrived home 3 days after the birth to meet his son it was very tearfull but the best summer ever.
The best thing that happened to me was getting my results fron uni, first class honours. Not bad for and old bird who never thought she’d cope past the first term!
2009 was my best summer, as had members of my family around me for the first time since moving away from home 6yrs ago they werent at my wedding but made the journey to be at my sons christening, my mum isn’t a well woman and for her to make the long journey to be with me was brilliant , I also got to see my son, my sister and my new baby Nephew, and also managed to sneak a few games in on 888 Ladies multi tasking or what lol, best summer ever 2009 xxxx

my best n most expensive summer was 2005 ex-hubby was 50 in march- stil my best friend.–i got married in april–daughter was 18 on 28th june– son 21 on 1st july– husband 60 on 17th july– stepson 13 in august !! busy n pricey
I had the best summer ever in 2009, cos my son Connor, who is only 171/2 joined the army, he had his passing out parade on Saturday 29th August 2009, that has to be the proudest moment of my life, I am so happy to share this with everyone, I cant describe how even proder it makes me feel. xo Spectator
Another great summer of mine was in 2006. My sister who had been suffering from breast cancer for 10 years was told that they were running out of options to give her treatment. That christmas she bought me and her a ticket to New York, even though she didnt feel great she put that aside to go to New York. Her doctor said she could go.
Off to New York we went on 16th Feb for 4 days, we stayed in a beautiful hotel near the rock-a-fella centre, it was unreal, we got horse drawn carriage on a snowy Sunday morning round central park, it was the most beautiful and precious 4 days of my life. Sadly my sister passed away in the July, but I do have the most special memories. There is a lot more I could write about our trip, but I would need quite a few sheets of paper ha!
