First things first, let’s congratulate our winner on our 2nd Birthday – vicky30 who won £8,888 on Friday and thanks again to the roomies who were in the chats and those who then went on Facebook with their congratulations and positive comments for our brand new £8,888aire! WTG and Enjoy!

Friday’s Jackpot was special in the way that it was our first Jackpot to entirely go to charity and what better at the moment than helping the people of Haiti who have been devastated by an earthquake that took the lives of parents, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters, entire families and friends, as well as the destruction of livelihoods, amenities and infrastructure.

So THANK YOU to you all for helping to raise £8,888 for these people who need are help more than ever. Hundreds of thousands have died already and many more could succumb to disease, not to mention the cost of rebuilding their shattered lives. YOU, by buying a ticket, made someone’s life a little easier with a glimmer of hope for a brighter future.

Oxfam will now get a cheque from us for this amount, £8,888, and they will make sure it gets to the people who need it the most.
